Orthopaedic emergencies part 1 & 2 are useful to me practicing in GP setting. I feel more confident to diagnose and handle these cases before referring to tertiary center for definitive management.
The course is helping me to be confident when dealing with orthopaedic emergencies especially when it comes to differentiating between cauda equina and conus medullaris. I was also not confident when it comes to diagnosing necrotising faciaitis and dealing with hip fractures in an emergency. I am very happy for the opportunity to do this course and I am very grateful for the opportunity.
This course has provided me with an organized academic structure, which complements my role as a SHO at a non-teaching hospital with no academic orthopedic structure.
